Our Story

LAUREA’s Story

Implementing learning interventions that make professionals better in what they do. That is the purpose of LAUREA. It started in 2014 when our founder decided to leave a career as a business consultant and policy maker and move towards the world of Learning & Development.

LAUREA was founded in October 2017 (yes! we recently passed the 5 year mark!) and initially focussed on association management and professional conference organisation services. Since 2020, we discovered our true self and market our four competences: project management, all things learning, marketing and technology platforms.

As we like tech, LAUREA created its own learning management system and authoring tool, Moontrail. Yeah, we go all the way.

As we want to make the world a better place and favour effectiveness and efficiency, we developed the LAUREA Impact Assessment Model.

Our Social Cause:

LAUREA donates part of its annual profit to Teach for Belgium.

Teach for Belgium is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 2013 and focuses on reducing educational inequalities by transforming recent graduates and professionals into inspiring teachers in subjects where there is a teacher shortage (mathematics, science, French, Dutch), for the students of the most disadvantaged schools in Belgium and this in collaboration with the actors of the educational world.
